Proposal: Microsoft Windows

Super User kinda already does this, the second most popular tag is Windows 7, then Windows, and Windows 10 is up there as well. If you look at the Windows tags, they all have at least 200 questions, so it's well established.

I disagree. 200 questions is not a lot, and Windows could easily have it's own SE with thousands and thousands of questions asked each year. Just like the Mac SE called "ask different", which is about other Apple products too, but the most significant is probably the Mac.

  • I disagree with you. Just the windows and windows-7 tags alone have almost 100 thousand questions.. The Apple site is not called Mac.SE but Apple.SE and while macOS is the most popular tag there, macOS are also on-topic on Superuser with as many questions as the Apple.SE. Furthermore Apple.SE is dedicated to Apple products and not one OS.

    @CaldeiraG. (1) My answer said that Ask Different "is about other Apple products too", and you replied saying "Furthermore Apple.SE is dedicated to Apple products and not one OS". (2) The text in the original question boasted about Windows tags having 200 questions, and I replied saying that 200 is not a lot.
