Proposal: The Great Outdoors

The proposal seems to be limited to outdoorsmanship in the sense of camping or backpacking. Could it include questions about general travel, including holidays and work trips?

An example of a question one might ask could be: "I'm travelling to Germany next year, do I need to inform the German driving authorities that I'll be bringing my car?"

No, that's what the Travel SE site is for. There might be some overlap, in which case either site is okay, but unless it has something to do with outdoors, then it shouldn't be at this site.

  • Yeah, I didn't spot the Travel SE until way after I posted this. I do find it odd that it's not in the list at the bottom, though.

  • The list at the bottom of Area 51 only lists the non-beta sites of the network. For the sites that began as Area 51 proposals, these are the ones listed on the launched tab area51.stackexchange.com/?tab=launched
