Proposal: Moderators

There's been an idea of renaming the proposal to community building, with community.stackexchange.com for site domain. I believe this should be left to vote. In the previous question my answer as to Why "moderators" got too much of early start to be really usable as a vote, so let us vote here for the name of the site.

Please, no downvoting opposing names. Please use comments to voice your opinions of support or opposition as to why you believe given name is preferable.

Also, please revisit this question in case other proposed names are added, and don't hesitate to remove your upvote and vote another suggestion added later in case you find it more to your liking. (the voting itself should remain open until beta)

  • This captures the attention of the primary audience immediately. At cost of accuracy, it has the best impact, being easy to identify with, immediately.

Note that compound names like "Moderators and Community Builders" depicting multiple subject are not likely to make it past the final proposal evaluation. See Standardizing & Simplifying SE Site Names Commented Feb 10, 2014 at 13:51
  • @RobertCartaino: Edited to adapt to that.

  • The best hope this site has is to cover both these aspects, moderator AND community manager, and more - shift the focus off the activities, and on to the purpose.
