I propose that a new Stack Exchange website be created for Hindi and Urdu languages. Separate proposals for Hindi and Urdu languages have been made but both independently received very poor votes.

Although more than 1.4 billion people speak the Hindustani language (of which both Hindi and Urdu are the two major dialects) I guess there is not a lot of unity between these two people because of which we have not been able to create a separate web site for the two languages.

By creating a unified website for both the languages we will be able to put all our votes in one basket.

Both the languages are highly similar; the main difference being the different scripts. I am sure if this can happen it will be a huge blessing for the millions of people speaking both the languages.

I will request you all to tell your friends and family to vote for this. Working together we should be able to achieve this in minimal amount of time.

To propose a new site, go to the bottom of the 'culture' proposal listings and click: Propose a new site.
