Proposal: Gamification

One of the ways we could take this forward is to bring the proposal to the notice of the leaders of the field. All of those individuals are experts as well as have a lot of referral power. (Even though they may or may not participate* themselves, they will certainly get the proposal a lot of attention)

So, any ideas on how to get them interested?

Some of these individuals are active on Quora and hence they may show up here as well

  • One idea would be to get as many developers interested in this as possible. I mean, it could be a whole new world that opens up to them. I've thought about adding stuff like achievements to the systems where I work, so that our customers would get things like "Sent your first post!" and so on.

Someone could contact bestseller authors like Gabe Zichermann and Joselin Linder of 'The Gamification Revolution', and Jane McGonigal of 'Reality is Broken', and others as well.

I'm sure they would be interested in a big discussion zone on gamification, based on gamification!
