Should an example question that is good, but would require editing, be upvoted?

This question is a perhaps a bit broad to be answered with a single answer.

However, it's a great question, suitable for this proposal. I imagine, in a beta, the question could be asked, and edited by the community to be more specific. Should the example be upvoted given this?

I think the question should be upvoted if it is edited in our definition to be a category of questions of which many can spawn in different perfectly fine, well-bounded combinations.
