I was browsing in the Area51 Discussion Zone and clicked on the unanswered tab when I came across this question: So few votes needed. I followed the Proposal link to the Big Data site only to find it was closed and I had wasted my time. Shouldn't questions from closed sites be filtered out of the list of unanswered questions? Or, if there is a reason to include them, shouldn't they at least be tagged with a 'closed-site' tag?

Questions from closed sites should be filtered out of the unanswered questions list since they are no longer actionable.
