On discuss.Area51, I posted this question, which has been upvoted but not answered. I would still like a response to it. It doesn't look like I can but a bounty on my questions in Area51, so is there any other way I can attract attention to my question?

Such questions are targeted to SE team, since they make the rules. If they are not interested in answering, there's not much to do.
