How about creating a Computational Logic stack exchange site?

It would involve the theory of using mathematical logic in computer science and in formal methods (yes, another name suggestion): theorem proving, model checking, lambda calculus, type systems, term rewriting, SAT and SMT solving, BDDs etc., and their application in concrete software artifacts like Isabelle, HOL, PVS, Agda, Coq, Twelf, Spin and others.

I think this would be on-topic at Theoretical Computer Science, Computer Science and maybe Mathematics.

However, feel free to propose a Stack Exchange site; the example questions will decide whether a new site is needed or not.

Everything you cite is on-topic on Computer Science, with the exception of the more directly “how do I prove this Agda/Coq/…” questions which are on-topic on Stack Overflow. Your proposal is 95% a subset of an existing site, and as someone who knows both computational logic (the discipline) and Computer Science (the site), I see absolutely no reason to create a separate site.

  • With the same logic one can argue that Cryptography is superfluous. Actually, it isn't.

    @Gergely Crypto is different for two reasons: it straddles math and CS, so a significant amount of crypto questions aren't really CS; and Crypto.SE existed before CS.SE, it would probably not have been created if CS.SE had already existed.
