Proposal: Sex and Intimacy

The existing question Will this site be safe for work? and answer by Robert makes it fairly clear the site is not going to be heavily censored. An answer by Shadow Wizard suggesting the use of spoiler tags received a down vote.

NSFW warning

This message is hidden behind a spoiler tag, Images can also be hidden. Starting a paragraph with >! hides the content, the content displays on mouse over.

This proposal is looking plausible to launch a Beta. I suggest now is a good time to discuss if the spoiler tag should be used to hide content that may not be appropriate for all viewers.

  • @Qsigma, yes. If you touch the box the text appears, if you take your finger away it is hidden again.

Personally, I would find a site that hides content behind a curtain like that an embarrassment. It's not going to happen if I have anything to say about it.

Will this site be safe for work?

  • Didn't think of it that way, having in mind only those who will be "hurt" by NSFW contents. Thanks for explaining! Commented Dec 23, 2014 at 8:23

Just thought of something. Won't you need to change Stack Exchange Content Policy if and when this site is launched? As it stands now, any hint of sexual content would result in account suspension. Commented Feb 1, 2015 at 12:53
  • Also will this mean you have to come under a different Data Protection thing?
