Proposal: Health

The health proposal requires 3 more users to get off the ground. How can we encourage 3 more users to join the proposal so we can begin to improve our health and well-being with informative questions and answers.

    I committed. So what is the deadline - is there a time when they will cancel this anyway if we don't find 200 commitments?

  • @Dr.Cashberg: Based upon a message posted on one of the SEs that did get cancelled, it requires a month of inactivity.

I only recall one proposal that got to 175 committed and did not fulfill the commitment phase, and that was because they never got 100 users with 200+ rep on another site. It does not add value to post this kind of spam message, you are not working towards anything constructive, and it is unlikely to change anything.

  • @Mew I understand the point of your comment, but I am suggesting in my answer that your question is asking "how can we make the sky blue?" and my answer is that sky is already blue, it is either hidden behind clouds or it is night time, just wait and you will see it. There is nothing you can nor need to do, to make the sky blue.

  • @JamesJenkins, Actually these threads are valid questions. They are asking where to find people interested in the topic (usually folks from mailing lists and other forums/communities). You're assuming that a site cannot be successful unless they are made up of people who are already SE members. Yet a more accurate indicator would be interest in the topic itself. Everything needs a start. Some of these non-SE new folks even went on to become moderators.
