Proposal: Laws & Legal Questions

I really hope this site goes to Beta, but concern isI am concerned over it's focus. Yes people need to know more about the theoretical and philosophical aspects of law, but even more so do we need to learn how to be able to do simple legal procedures ourselves. As of now I believe the financial barrier to be able to defend oneself legally is too high. A legal stack exchange site could help this enormously. What do we think?
