The description does appear to be a subset of SuperUser and the one example question so far looks like it would be on-topic there (there are currently 728 questions tagged power-supply for instance).
Since SuperUser doesn't have a problem with these types of questions, I can't see any reason for this proposal not to be closed as a duplicate.
Specific issues with computer software, hardware or networking
. It says issues, not building computers. I think that the About
page should be changed because this is misleading. Looking at questions on Super User, I realize that the About page is outdated and it covers just hardware and software in general. Replying to the power supply question, that doesn't mean that those weren't issues with the power supply.
