Proposal: India

Update 2: We now need just 8 more questions with a score of 10 or more. One quick tip: To adjust your already existing up-vote, you need not to down-vote that question, but you need to click on the red up arrow (red shows your vote) and put it on some other question.

Update 1: I want to remind friends in bold that we all have 5 up votes per forum that we can use to up-vote the questions having less than 10 votes. There is NO POINT up-voting a question which have already received 10 votes. Vote for the questions that have less than 10 votes. Those who have already voted can also ALTER their votes. (I think StackExchange should not allow more than 10 votes for a question.)

Hello Friends,

There are already 138 followers and around 30 questions with a score of 10 or more. What else is required for it to move to Commitment phase?

Our proposal is recently been hit by serial downvoting. Kindly cast your vote here to request moderators to look into the case. I guess if all the downvotes are reversed, we'd be almost there to commitment phase.

It happened again? The number of required questions increased from 8 to 36! Mar 30, 2013 at 16:30
  • Now they are silently downvoting. Some questions with votes less than 10 votes are downvoted. And questions with 16/15 votes are also downvoted. 15 questions is increased to 17. Looks like it is acceptable here to create fake profiles and downvote everywhere as there are no actions taken by mods.

Great! .. if other people also adjust their votes, we can easily get 3 more questions in the list! Mar 12, 2013 at 14:52
  • Now it is showing 15 required (after I transferred 2 votes :D ). Why has number of required questions increased (since @ACB's comment)? Mar 15, 2013 at 14:26
  • @VinayakGarg, Any users who voted got removed or did someone down vote all questions? It could be due to that. Right now it is saying 9 more required. If somebody is active on other SE sites, please leave a comment to the users who joined recently to vote on questions which are less than 10 votes. I can see that a few people have joined recently.

  • @ACB: Cool! some enthusiastic Indian must have joined the proposal :) BTW I got my answer here chat.stackoverflow.com/transcript/message/8283824#8283824 Mar 15, 2013 at 18:17
  • @VinayakGarg ... Please read the Update 2 on the question of this thread. We do not need to vote-down questions. That would not help. We just have to use our 5 votes to vote-up questions having less than 10 votes. (Your vote is shown as RED UP ARROW) Only if someone notices his up-vote at a question already having >10 votes, than he needs to click on that RED ARROW (that would cancel your up-vote) and use that up-vote on some other question with <10 votes. If possible please up-vote the questions again that you have down-voted. The number of question have actually increased from 8 to 9. :( Mar 16, 2013 at 8:03
  • @RahulGupta: What made you think that I down voted questions?? I never did that. I did exactly what you have just described. BTW Some idiot must have down voted questions. Mar 16, 2013 at 16:26
  • Looks like a group of people have mass downvoted all questions. It is now at 23 more needed after I adjusted my votes.

  • What's going on here!! 9 more were needed earlier, now the number is increased 17!!! Is it because of inactive followers? Mar 25, 2013 at 7:23

@ACB please try to flag the meta question for moderator attention and try to explain the situation. I'll do it too.
