Proposal: Latin Language & Usage

You need to edit this question to expand on what you've said in the title. Include exactly what you mean and, more importantly, why you think this. Your title should not be longer than your body (which doesn't exist aside from the auto-included text).

If the site is to cover usage I think that legal and medical usages of Latin probably should be covered somewhere, although I'm not sure their use counts as "Latin language usage" rather than "use of Latin words and phrases". If the latter is included we can ask about the use of Harry Potter's "Latin" spells in teaching English language, see tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/…

  • "Proposal: Latin Language & Usage" - it doesn't sound like a question

Questions about English grammar probably belong on English Language & Usage. However, if the question is about Latin grammar, then it would make more sense here.

Perhaps we could have law and economics tags for questions about the use of Latin in Law and Economics, both historical and modern.

Both being without the -latin suffix, which would be quite redundant for the site.

  • @animuson I guess they would be redundant; I removed the -latin suffix on both of them in my answer.
