As I understand it the main reason for answers being split into pages on SE's Q&A sites is to limit noise; the answers not in the top 30 voted answers are probably not the most useful. That makes sense.
But Area 51 isn't a Q&A site and the example questions are not answers. It doesn't make sense to split them into pages. Even worse, it's required that 40 questions be voted up to 10 points. This requires that users navigate to the second page to even see >30 questions, meaning it's significantly less likely that questions after the first 30 will get votes. You can see this on the Atheism/Agnosticism proposals; they require more +10 voted questions than will fit on the current page. Forcing people to switch pages is no good.
I suggest we show at least 60 example questions or perhaps just do away with the limit completely on Area 51. Unless some proposals have upwards of 100/200 questions it seems only logical to fit them on one page since we're supposed to be evaluating the lower scored ones. Upvoting the >10 voted ones doesn't even help define the site.
