Proposal: Stack Overflow in Spanish

Beyond the obvious of share to social networks, what are some ways to get people that would already be interested in this proposal to come and support it? (see my note at the bottom about question versus discussion)

For example, one idea is if anyone lives near a university, you should make an announcement either on the Computer Science department's bulletin board or to one of the professors. Stack Overflow in Spanish will help students and professors in this subject area a lot and so they have an interest in helping the site get to beta and beyond.

Note: I'm a little confused where this should go. It's not a question and StackOverflow in Spanish doesn't have a chat room. But this section is labeled "Discussion" and even when making an announcement on the proposal, the help text says "Use announcements for short notifications or clarifications. For questions, ideas, or suggestions, please use a discussion."

Translation:

Mas alla de la respuesta obvia de compartir a las redes sociales, cuales son las maneras a hacer que la gente que ya estarian interesada en esta propuesta a venir y apoyarla? (ve mi nota al fin de esta pregunta sobre "pregunta contra discusion")

Por ejemplo, una idea es que si ustedes viven cerca de una universidad, deben hacer un anuncio en su departamento de Ciencias de la Computacion, talvez a uno de los profes. Stack Overflow en español sera bien util a estudiantes y profesores de esta tema entonces ellos tendran un interes en ayudar el sitio lograr salir de beta.

Nota: Estoy poco confundido en donde debo escribir esto. No es una pregunta y Stack Overflow en Español no tiene una sala de chat. Pero esta seccion se llama "discusión" y a demas, el texto de ayuda para hacer un anuncio en la pagina de la propuesta dice, "Usa anuncios para notificaciones cortos o clarificaciones. Por preguntas, ideas, o sugerencias, por favor usa una discusión."

Another idea would be a well timed, coordinated post to hackerNews or similar. Once we get to the point in the commit phase where it's almost to beta or new commits begin to drop off, post an announcement there or somewhere similar (slashdot or reddit) and coordinate some of the community to upvote it to get visibility. Once people see it (especially if we're already close to beta), they will signup.

Otra idea seria un anuncio coordinado del tiempo oportuno a hackerNews o similar. Una vez que llegamos al punto del fase "commit" cuando ya casi estamos en beta o commits nuevos vienen mas despacios, ponemos un anuncion alli o en un sitio parecido (slashdot o reddit) y coordinar algunos de la communidad a votar por el anuncio para que tendra visibilidad. Cuando le gente lo vean (especialmente si estamos cerca a beta), van a apuntarse.
