Proposal: Genealogy & Family History

Two questions just vanished. I know they did, because I congratulated the person who posted the 100th question. Now there are only 98.

Questions can be voted to be closed, but they do remain. I don't see a way of deleting questions, although I know the moderator has the power to do so.

However, it is NOT NICE for questions to be deleted without letting the group know that they have. So if someone, somehow deleted 2 of the questions here at the Genealogy & Family History proposal, please let us know.

I had the 100th question, and I did not delete it. I also still see it in the list. – maguidhir Sep 9 '12 at 3:58
  • @JustinY - I don't think you can by yourself. Yes, the "delete" option is there for your own messages. But if you click on it, you only vote to delete your post. It still will take other people with enough reputation to vote as well (or the moderator) to get your post deleted. I've wanted to delete one of my posts on Stackoverflow before, and I couldn't. @lkessler Well then it is disconcerting that those 2 questions disappeared. – user42535 Sep 9 '12 at 4:10
