Proposal: India

Should Questions about Civilian , Defence , Art ,Film awards , sports (eg. Arjuna award) etc in-terms of their individual contribution or for that matter Cricket in India and its achievement , be proposed in India SE.

Questions related to achievement is fine and Few Questions related to individual contributions may spark differences, I think we need to consider this as Off-tropic. One need to ask questions which could be answered not discussed.

  • Contribution in terms of achievements not in terms comparisons . i.e. why i termed it as for Awards , since its a recognition , without any intention of comparing. That would of-course be Offtopic.

I think question asking basic information like the one I proposed

Who earned the first noble prize from India ?

would be in scope of the site. On similar lines, any post discussing any famous Indian in Sport/Culture/Art/etc... would also can get a place on India SE.

But question, very much too localized should be considered off-topic.
