Proposal: India Can questions about Indian Religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism asked in this website. A site about Buddhism, Hinduism is on its way. But i don't think there is any proposal for Sikhism. So what would be probable solution. Should we consider religious questions off topic.

When a site is in definition phase, the best way to determine if a question is on- or off-topic is to ask it.

Some general suggestions, though:

  1. Questions about religion as it relates to India may be deemed on topic. Example:

    How did Buddhism become popular in India?

  2. Questions about a religion that just happens to be practiced in India, may be deemed off-topic. Example:

    What does the Buddha teach about forgiveness?

  • The 1st point in answer is most likely to be favoured in History SE, It can be Related MORE On-topic by replacing the when with How.
