On this site there is a tag for which its purpose is not clear to me: . Isn't this site about proposals? If the question doesn't use , the question is about a proposal.

Is there the need of using ?

  • @robertcartaino What does status-completed mean, in this case? I am asking what the purpose of that tag would be.

  • It had no apparent purpose (as you pointed out), so the ambiguous tag was removed. [status-completed] May 7, 2012 at 15:46
  • @RobertCartaino I am still seeing it; that is why I asked. See this question, for example. proposal lists many other questions with that tag.

Agree that questions tagged as proposal that don't use area51-meta should not exist, since not including the area51-meta tag means the question should be about a current, future, or past proposal regardless of its status within the parent topic tag used.
