This question already has an answer here:
Over the last few months I've noticed a lot of inappropriate or poorly thought out proposals on Area 51. Some are just carve-outs of topics that already get plenty of traffic on an existing StackExchange site. Most get closed after attracting at most a couple of followers, and hardly any example questions.
Maybe it isn't any of my business, but all these closed and soon-to-be-closed proposals clutter up the list of new proposals. It is very uninviting to a site visitor who is looking to see if there is a proposal they might like to get involved with.
The Management have recently increased the hurdle to get to commitment stage. I would like to further suggest that proposals don't even appear on the new proposals page unless the proposer has come up with five example questions. After all, if you can't think of five good questions for the site, why are you even proposing it?
