I'm looking for records of failed betas (e.g., Electronic Gadgets). They aren't accessible through the homepage sort. Is there a directory or list somewhere in Area 51?

How to find:
- Closed Beta proposals
- Proposals grouped by reason:
- Recently [CLOSED] proposals
- Recently [CLOSED] proposals (note some closed proposal are deleted at some point, so this is not all of the proposal ever closed)
- Recently [CLOSED] proposals may also manually be found by sorting the proposals by "Progress", and then scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the last page index listed; after you're on that page, just click "prev" until no additional topics marked as [CLOSED] are found.

+1 @Verbeia: Thanks, though it's unclear what the intent of your search is to me, though I did modify it and add it to my answer as a way to find Proposals "closed as offtopic", since I was unaware of that type of close; possible that was your intent, but not sure. Thanks!– blundersApr 29, 2012 at 12:34

@Verbeia: I see, then that search really doesn't appear to help. The search should be inclusive, not exclusive, otherwise you'll still get junk, and possibly filters out real results. Beside "closed as duplicate of [insert-existing-stackexchange]" is there any other reason a proposal is closed?– blundersApr 29, 2012 at 21:03

That said, this search might be better for the dups:
site:area51.stackexchange.com "This proposal would tend to drain audience from an existing Stack Exchange site." -site:discuss.area51.stackexchange.com
