Possible Duplicate:
When/why did the # of questions required to get out of Definition increase to 40? FAQ inaccurate

In the Area 51 FAQ it says this about the definition phase:

The goal is to come up with at least forty questions that embody the topic's scope. When at least ten questions have a score of at least ten net votes (up minus down), then the proposal is considered "defined."

However, on the Area 51 page for Digital Preservation, it says:

This proposal is in: Definition

The topic and audience are still being decided. It needs:

48 followers 40 questions with a score of 10 or more

to move to the next phase.

Which is it, 40 questions total with 10 having 10 net votes, or 40 questions with a score of 10?

It's supposed to be at least 40 questions having at least a score of 10 each.

At one point, the requirement was a mere ten questions with a score of 10 a piece, and the FAQ read:

The goal is to come up with at least ten questions that embody the topic's scope. When at least ten questions have a score of at least ten net votes (up minus down), then the proposal is considered "defined."

It appears that when we bumped that up to 40, we missed a spot. Both bits of bold text in the quote above should read ** forty**.

Good eye ;-)

Not to beat a dead horse, but the requirement of 40 questions accruing 10 votes each seems to imply a least 80 followers casting 5 votes each. This makes the requirement of 60 followers that is tracked on the Area 51 page redundant.

@Micah: Except that right now there's no requirement that all votes come from followers (or that you continue following a proposal after proposing questions and voting).
