The Poker Proposal, to which I've committed and for which I'm patiently waiting, has enough commitment to enter beta. However the launch was delayed -- a banner at the top says,

We are delaying the launch of this site until January so to avoid the lull in traffic around the end-of-the-year holidays.

Any idea when this will actually be lit up?

  • I can't vote this post up even though I'm registered for the beta. It says I've got 151 rep and as far as I can tell I've linked this account with my StackOverflow account (1500+ rep or so). When I try to vote this up it says that I must "login or register" to vote questions up, am I doing something wrong? (I cannot 'star' the question either but apparently I can comment).

Barring any technical delays, the Poker site should launch into private beta today: Tuesday, January 10th. Later this afternoon (Eastern Time), probably closer to dinner time than immediately after lunch, on or about 3:30-ish, give or take.
