Proposal: Poker

Have you discussed how "bad beat stories" would be handled? Would they be allowed with a unique and/or exclusive tag? Would they be shunned altogether?

I've just seen many poker forums turn into places where folks go to tell their stories about how their pocket rockets got knocked on the turn by small straight flushes... etc. etc. etc.

I really dig the proposal here and would like to see it succeed.

These types of posts would not be constructive and should be closed as such. Questions on SE should be answerable. Stories about bad beats are not really questions and really lead only to discussion and more non-constructive posts.

    I wholeheartedly agree. Just wanted to get a discussion going. they would be just as annoying as the "give us the codes. urgent!!1" posts on StackOverflow.
