Proposal: Sustainable Living

Would sustainable architecture based questions (like shipping container structures, cobb houses, earth ships, etc) be appropriate here?

Sustainable Living is still in definition phase. The proper way to determine if such questions would be on topic is to ask them as example questions, and see what kinds of votes they get.

  • Oops, sorry. I'm still getting used to the layout. I'll go ask a proper question then. Thanks.

I think the simple answer here is an enthusiastic "Yes!"

I've previously contributed to the Sustainable Life site and I feel that it has certain limitations for concrete professional questions. I've made that experience at the interface of Sustainable Life and Economics for example: e.g. carbon pricing is a Economics question related to sustainable economics.

In the same vein I believe that many sustainability questions related to architecture could be better resolved on an Architecture site.

I've floated a proposal for an Architecture site. Please contribute to building it if you're interested.
