Proposal: Noahide Community

Currently, the proposal description of the Noahide community is:

"Proposed Q&A site for Noahides (non-Jewish followers of Jewish monotheism) looking for practical advice on how to observe the Noahide Laws."

This language of non-Jews following Jewish monotheism is unnecessarily confusing.

I suggest it be reworded to something like:

"A question and answer site for those who base their lives on Noahide Law and looking for practical advice on how to observe the Noahide Laws, and anyone interested in learning more."

Thoughts?

Well, the description for the existing Judaism.SE (Mi Yodeya) site, according to the Stack Exchange search feature, is:

For those who base their lives on Jewish law and tradition and anyone interested in learning more.

The straightforward thing to do is just replace "Jewish" with "Noahide".

One point of concern I have is that most of the general public has no clue what "a Noahide" or "the Noahide Laws" are. This might not be a problem, if you assume that people who don't know simply won't use the site. But maybe we could do something like:

Proposed Q&A site for those who base their lives on Noahide law (a universal ethical framework), and anyone interested in learning more.

That is, try to define the term without making Noahidism sound too much like Judaism Lite.

Dan, I think that works. Adding the phrase, "a universal ethical framework" is a good fit, too.
