Proposal: Programming Language Design and Implementation

Should we allow questions about how to start when creating languages, how to plan the design process and set up a compiler/interpreter?
Even though these are really important questions if you‘re creating your first language, I feel like there just are a bunch of these type of posts.

What should we do, make them CW or make it a tag and then discourage users to post them, like code golf did with ? Or do you think they should be generally accepted?

I'd say yes.

The name of the site is literally "Programming language design and implementation". Which sort of tells you that there will be questions about creating (designing) programming languages. So, I think you're perfectly fine to ask a question about creating a programming language, as creating and designing are essentially on the same level.
