Proposal: Computational Fluid Dynamics
I wonder why is this not part of the Physic site (https://physics.stackexchange.com/tour). That is, why does it need a specialized site?
Pure programming questions can go into stackoverflow. Pure mathematics questions can go into mathematics. When physics has a predominant importance (fluid dynamics), then Physics site seems adequate.
If the only goal is to bring the community together, physics with a good tag seems also adequate.
Already available tags are:
- Fluid dynamics (https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/fluid-dynamics)
- Computational physics (https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/computational-physics)
It would probably be possible to create a "computational fluid dynamics".
