Robert Cartaino's flair, displayed e.g. here, says he's a ♦ moderator on three other sites in the network:

He isn't anymore since the beginning of this year, so it looks like this is some kind of caching problem?

  • New diamonds are being detected and ex-diamonds are no longer showing, so I don't think it's a bug caused by disconnects between the modern network site system and the classic A51 system. Of course caching is always the first suspect. – Nij Jul 13 '20 at 8:36

    I believe this has something to do with the way Area 51 pulls in old stats for sites that have since been closed in order to include user participation on sites that failed and not only on sites currently running. Particularly it emphasizes that a user was previously a moderator on a closed site, but is no longer. Obviously that fails for ex-staff because we don't touch that information ever again to remove diamonds. I don't know if there is a simple fix for this. – animuson Jul 13 '20 at 16:44
