Does the need for 40 upvoted questions require more than 80 followers? How many sites achieved the 40 upvoted questions before getting 60 followers? I am suggesting we remove the follower requirement for the Definition stage because it seems redundant. Assuming that everyone votes in such a way as to get the proposal into Commitment and only followers vote, it requires ten people per ever five questions, or a 2:1 ratio, which means that 80 people are required to help in order to get the site to commitment. Obviously, reality is messier that this. But since people vote without following, but they don't vote to game it, this balances out, maybe even making it harder. Ziquilla went into commitment with 90 followers. Lifehacks went into commitment wiith 250. Should we get rid of this redundant requirement?
