I think we should use Devanagari script for answering Questions and there should be a translation along with it so as to promote the language and in doing so answering questions to a wider audience

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "This looks like a question for a site that hasn't been created, yet. This forum is designed to discuss these proposals to create new sites. If a site is created for this subject, you might be able to ask your question there, but I have to close this as 'off topic' for this forum. Sorry about the confusion." – Robert Cartaino

Are you suggesting the site should be a complete non English site like Stack Overflow Russion? If The language will still be English like other languages site like Portuguese, Japanese. – Nog Shine Oct 21 at 11:47
  • Not necessarily completely non-English. But as you may know the script used for Sanskrit is Devanagari and hence the suggestion for its use here arises naturally. But I think that if along with Devanagari there exists a translation in English then a more wider public may get benefited. – Ramanujan_π Oct 21 at 11:56

Since there are only "example questions" in the proposal (no answers), your suggestion doesn't really apply to this site.

But hang on to your question until the Q&A site is actually launched. I can appreciate the enthusiasm for getting started on the broader administrative challenges of running this site, but it is best to save these questions for the folks who are going to be actively using this site in actual practice. Area 51 is for questions about getting the proposal launched. Sorry about the confusion.
