Proposal: Movies
Would questions asking how a scene was shot be on-topic?
For example:
Q: How was the scene from Inception where the two guys were fighting in the hotel hallway with the shifting gravity shot?
A: It was shot by using a prop room that could be moved/rotated and the actors were suspended on wires.
The Movies proposal is largely an end user enthusiasts site, so the technical aspects of how a movie is made is not generally on topic.
Android Enthusiasts doesn't cover programming and manufacturing the devices, Gaming doesn't talk about the physics of rendering collisions, and the creation of movies and special effects is better housed in our is "technical" forums like Film Making, 3D Graphics Modeling & Applications, or possibly Audio-Video Production.
