I am thinking of ways to organize support and propose a new SE site for SAP-related topics, both functional and technical.

My idea is to publish a Medium article which will explain the need for open and independent SAP community, then use a LinkedIn group to gather and further organize in advance of an actual proposal on Area51.
Has anyone heard of, or participated in, discussions on proposing this kind of site?
