I've noticed that, on Area 51 Meta, when you click "privileges" on the achievements tab, the link takes you to the faq rather than the privileges page. The faq doesn't talk about privileges nearly as thoroughly, and you have to scroll down pretty far to find the section on privileges. It's a little bit misleading for it to lead to the faq. Additionally, the "badges" link takes you directly to the badges page, which is much more useful.

My request is to link the privileges link in the achievements tab directly to the Area 51 privileges page rather than the faq.

  • The "privileges" link actually goes to https://area51.meta.stackexchange.com/help/privileges, but since there's no https://area51.meta.stackexchange.com/help/privileges (meta Area 51) nor https://area51.stackexchange.com/help/privileges (main Area 51), it probably assumes a non-existent section on /help and falls back to https://area51.stackexchange.com/faq... – Andrew T. @Andrew The page is really at this link area51.stackexchange.com/privileges not area51.stackexchange.com/help/privileges – Henry WH Hack v2.1.2 Dec 24 '18 at 0:32
  • @HenryWHHackv2.1.2 yeah, I meant since Area 51 is a special site which doesn't have a proper help center (unlike other SE sites), this is an exceptional case (all other sites link to [site domain]/help/privileges, not [site domain]/privileges, but the short link also redirects to the help center). Certainly the quickest fix is to link to area51.stackexchange.com/privileges, or they could move the page to area51.stackexchange.com/help/privileges and redirect /privileges to /help/privileges (to conform with other sites, although, again, Area 51 is a special site) – Andrew T.
