I propose a SE site that any answer or question is on topic and never closed or put on hold.Unlike other sites the commonality of these question will be that they need work. This will give th OP the ability to work on questions after enough down votes have been accumulated without causing more work for other users. Moderators can send questions not up to par as an alternative to closing and eventually system suspensions on the user.

No suspensions or bans unless it is hate speech or harassment. A good place to have many advice also for users to see on good question asking. Time limits would increase with each question to detour gaming but resets the next day.

Comments, could be used like chat. Some of use have been banned from chat. Up and down voting has no limits as in you can change your vote at anytime for any reason. Serial voting, you can up or down vote everything on another user its ok.

Please consider this proposal. I can only imagine the crazy off topic, opinionated, and just dumb stuff people ask. With this site questions that have no place on SE would have a place. Questions could be migrated here instead of closing thus giving moderators more control on which users they want to keep. Moderators should have plenty to send over to clean out.

Some of my questions have no place on any of SE. I have been suspended for years on a few of the SE sites because of my questions not being up to par. Some of them gets closed fast and who wants to check out a closed question? To me it was good but to a handful of people who helps the only option was to close. If I work on them a little at at time like most non users do I get more down votes.

I want to help give moderators and users like me another option and chance to learn before ruining there record and a site like this would be a great correctional tool for all SE sites to use.

Please Please feel free to make improvements to this proposal rather than close it.

  • I'm sorry, but any site that cares about the quality of its user-generated content seems to be not the place for you. I'd suggest free-form discussion fora such as reddit, 4chan or their derivatives. Mar 30, 2018 at 13:29
  • I've been in forums like that. Works great when the community is small, but once you get over 20-30 people, "no rules" quckly becomes "cesspit of the Internet".

  • Stack Exchange is a good place precisely because we don't allow these questions a place. You're missing the entire point of not giving it to them.

What you are asking for is not a Stack Exchange site. It's an overgrown chat room that that looks more like the magazine rack at a grocery store than a book shelf at Harvard. — Robert Scoble

There are plenty of places to type things on the Internet, but Stack Exchange was created to gather communities in specific areas of expertise to help assure the information posted is least somewhat authoritative. I'm sorry you are having difficulties getting along in the Stack Exchange communities, but we are not interested in creating an unbounded, anything-goes miscellaneous site.

What's special about Stack Exchange?

  • If this has been proposed before then how many times? I could use the others to better copulate a this proposal. Down votes aside it would have a place here and still can be conformed. Can it be brought into scope. I'm not talking about an anything goes SE. Just one that can be used as a tool for moderators and sanctuary for the forsaken and suspended. Yes sadly I asked too many questions that cannot be answered. I would get along much better if I wasn't being mob down voted to suspension.

Proposed too many times to enumerate; dozens at least. Please don't copulate a proposal. The premise is beyond flawed. We're not interested in creating a sanctuary for the suspended (that's the definition of suspended) nor a place for moderators to exile users or content that is not welcome. Even if we were interested in a subject-less site per se, there would be no way to convey that "Stack Exchange works like {thus}" except on this ONE site where the normal rules don't apply. Whatever folks learn there will seem reasonable to bring to other sites. We're just not interested; it's not for us Mar 30, 2018 at 16:33
  • I'm not arguing is there a way to check, but what if one could be made. If so many others cared enough to make a proposal would all those people be enough to make it valid? Yes the rules apply but take the option to close and the OP the option to delete it at anytime. Yes the rules are different. The OP can work on it there without creating work for others. Either the question will get better and voted out or gets deleted saving hard space. This is a win win for both over avid users and moderators.

Thank you for taking the time to raise this issue. We simply are not interested in this approach as the basis for creating a new site. Mar 30, 2018 at 19:21

"copulate" That word. It does not mean what you think it means. Don't both of you mean formulate? In addition, I do believe there's been multiple meta requests about it. Mar 31, 2018 at 4:24
  • @JourneymanGeek But “formulate” isn’t nearly as sex-y. Mar 31, 2018 at 5:39
