Some proposals on this site are too narrow to become an independent site per se. For example, a proposal about Classical Guitar could simply be merged into music and by itself is not a good candidate to become a single site.
Since other parts of Stack Exchange network are democratic and community-driven, I think there must also be the same polling mechanism for proposals. I didn't find any icon to vote to close a proposal. Is there such a thing around?
