When a proposal has gotten it's first 5 questions and 5 followers, nothing happens automatically (is this true?). What happens next, and when?

A proposal needs to have 5 followers and 5 example questions within 3 days to start it off if not it will get auto deleted by the system. After that nothing special really happen until the proposal gets 60 followers and 40 example questions with a score of 10 or more this is when the commitment phase starts.

  • Thank you for your answer. The proposal "Latin Hebrew" has 5 followers and 5 example questions. You said, that this proposal has to have 40 example questions. But how? I can't add more questions to the 5 existing questions. It says "Beep! You've already created 5 questions for this proposal! If you've thought of a new one, you'll have to delete one of the others." So how do we have to continue in this case? – Wolfgang Adamec Nov 19 '17 at 12:01
  • @Wolfgang It mostly amounts to getting more followers so they can post example questions and vote on others. Maybe do a few social media posts / ask some friends if they're interested etc. But getting enough people interested that know how SE works can be the most challenging part of launching a new site. – PeterJ Nov 19 '17 at 13:07
  • Hello PeterJ. Thank you for your answer. The problem is that nobody can add a new question to "Latin Hebrew" without wiping out an existing question. Please have a look at it! Thanks alot. – Wolfgang Adamec Nov 19 '17 at 13:36
  • @WolfgangAdamec There is a limit of five question per user. Only you can't add more than five. You need other people to ask questions. – Jason Bassford Sep 14 '18 at 15:29
