Proposal: Computer Science Educators

We need a handful of more supporters (and questions) to make it to the next stage - any ideas on how to get these? I've tried tweeting/FB/posting within my limited network, as well as reaching out to major groups like CSTA (no dice there).

Given the recent bigger pushes for CS education in all schools, it would be great if we could set something up on StackExchange soon!

  • I found this proposal today by accident and I'm a mod on Computer Science. Go figure. (You do seem to lack any significant number of CSists among the committers!)

  • @Raphael is there any way to spread the word to members of Computer Science?

Sure; for instance, you can hit our chat. Attempts to post community ads for Area51 proposals have so far been unsuccessful, but this one may just have a chance.

Don't know the "best" way, but one way is to reference it in your StackOverflow profile, and maybe other community profiles. We need the attention of people active in online communities.

That is how I found Area51 in the first place.

Social networks are good, but if anyone belongs to a professional network, that would be a great place to post it also. I mentioned it to NYSAEYC, asking if they can post it also.
