I posted on my blog the "ad" image for the History site ( http://area51.stackexchange.com/ads/proposal/5169.png). Then I noticed that Adblock blocks it because it has "ads" in the URL. Shouldn't the URL be such that Adblock doesn't block it?


If that was done, then the people who want it blocked would complain.

  • Generally people want to block ads that are not part of a site's content. If they don't want to read someone's blog or postings on a social site, they block/unfriend that person.
