Should Veganism be extended to Vegetarianism?

Veganism imho is a pretty narrow topic for a SE site. Should we extend this proposal to Veganism and Vegetarianism?

Yes, Veganism should be expanded to include Vegetarianism. Previous attempts create a vegan only site have failed. Widening the scope should improve the chance of a successful launch.

I think it should even be extended to be something like (primarily) plant-based, meat-free or animal-less to make the occasional question about pescetarian or “insectarian” or “anthopodarian” diets (i.e. those avoiding meat or all products from mammals or vertebrates, not all kinds of animals) on topic.

Therefore change the current description:

Proposed Q&A site for people interested in Vegan/Vegetarian related topics such as: diets, products, environmental effects, societal effects and more

into something like this:

Proposed Q&A site for diets and products that rely on plants instead of animals, as well as environmental or societal effects thereof and ethical or nutritional reasons for choosing them.
