A Stack Exchange site for Tor (https://tor.stackexchange.com/) exists. Could that site and this one not be merged, since they overlap greatly?

The Deep Web is much greater than just Tor. They should not be merged.
It's like saying we already have a SE for Wordpress so we don't need a SE about CMS in general. That's simply not how it works.

Shouldn't Tor be a subtopic of the Deep Web, since it is primarily a way to access and entirely encompassed by, the Deep Web? CMS and Wordpress are very different, since Wordpress also has it's own hosting, etc. – Michelfrancis Bustillos Nov 17 '15 at 15:13

1@Mast Apart from that, Tor questions do not have to be deep web quetsions, as TOR questions can involve the config of Torrc, and staying anonymous. It would perhaps be same distance as Apple SE and Superuser – TheBro21 Feb 22 '16 at 19:40

@TheBro21 Agreed. It's perfectly plausible to have questions which are on-topic on both sites. As long as this isn't a too big part of the scope the proposal should be fine. – Mast Feb 22 '16 at 20:01

Yes, this is known but Tor is a subset of the Deepweb, so why should it have a separate SE site, not just a subtopic? – Michelfrancis Bustillos Dec 28 '15 at 17:46
