Not every topic can have its own Stack Exchange site, so we're proposing a new site just about general-purpose "things."
For example, how about this question that doesn't fit into any existing sites:
"How can I replace a spray-bottle cap?"
What about:
"How can I stop my smoke detector from beeping?"
And this:
"Why does my nose hurt when I use a Kleenex?"
It'll be for discussion about household items, television channels, events in your life, and so on.
People will ask about things that other people might stumble upon in their life, or are just curious to know about different things.
This proposed Stack Exchange site will be a collection of questions-and-answers about "stuff." One collection for general things is better than not-constructive questions scattered across Science and History and Culture, etc.
Those sites are for people interested in those subjects and want to participate. "Arbitrary Stuff" will just be for curious kids or average people.
This is good for questions that people "just want to know." Posting them on existing sites will be marked as "not-constructive" or "too-localized."
