I noticed a few sites that I find interesting, however I don't see myself committing to the sites since I have little to no knowledge on the topics of the sites.
I would like to follow the proposal, since I'd be interested in lurking on some sites, hoping to learn something.
(For example of such sites: I don't actively participate in WorldBuilding.SE, but I enjoy reading the questions on the site, another example: I lurk on the Programmers.SE site, learning about programming-related topics).
Is it possible to follow a site proposal (and lurk) without committing to it?
