Proposal: Economics

Now that Economics has fulfilled it's commitment requirements, and it says 'lauching private beta soon...' - when exactly will this be? What is required to do before then?

See the answer to this post. It appears that it always takes a few days.
Moreover as it says to the right of the screen

Committed users will be invited to the private beta.

So we wait for the invitation to show up in our SE accounts I guess.

Therefore, "what is required to do before then" is, in my humble opinion, just to

Write down as many as possible interesting Economics questions you might think of, and get ready to post them, one question per day -no more, no less.

    Yes. I think pacing is useful as it'll give us time to digest what works and what doesn't between each round of Q&A. Although I imagine we won't really bit that formal about it ;-) Nov 17, 2014 at 1:37

    @LateralFractal Stimulating lists!... these are the "crowd-attracting" issues. I think we should also take good care of less impressive ..."everyday theoretical Economics" questions, which although more technical and esoteric, will more easily attract (and retain) Economics's students and academics. A few days ago, I sent an email out to the Stackexchange folks and they said they usually roll out private betas on Mondays. So, we should be expecting it to happen today!
