Proposal: Lifehacks

The book, Lifehacks, itself, by Adam Pash and Gina Trapani -- either for solutions or suggestions on how to frame possible hacks? The book, itself, obviously has ideas that should be shared.

Is it acceptable within the confines of this forum to quote paragraphs, reference chapters and page numbers, and generally use the book to solve a problem potentially posted here?

I think this would normally be asked on the site meta if it reaches beta, but generally the answer is yes. – DonyorM Oct 23 '14 at 13:46
  • Fantastic. I own a copy and was curious as to whether I could employ it here. Do I need to take this question down? – Angelfirenze Oct 23 '14 at 13:49

The SE sites should be able to sit by themselves as a standalone Q&A resource imho, therefore while it is ok to make reference to a book/web page etc the main part of the answer should actually be the answer not just a 'read this article' type post. – Nick J Adams Nov 5 '14 at 13:32
