Are there any other SE sites that will show the woodworking SE banner ad? It seems woodworking and related hobbies are popular among software engineers, for example. – rob Nov 26 '14 at 23:12

@rob I looked into other communities but never went as far as posting another ad. I read a lot of discussions where ads to other SE sites were frowned upon unless the topics were directly related (such as DIY and woodworking). Still, there's no harm in trying. Did you have any specific sites in mind? – drs Nov 27 '14 at 19:15

@rob, also, we should wait a week or so for the 2015 ad posts to go up. We probably don't have a chance to get enough votes in by the end of this year's campaign, and then they'd only be live for a month anyways. – drs Nov 27 '14 at 19:17
