Proposal: Computer Graphics

I can't fathom why Computer Graphics questions wouldn't fall under Graphic Design

I looked at the proposed questions and they're all what I would have expected with computer graphics. Ray-tracing, gpu vs cpu rendering, shaders, using direct3d and opengl.

Meanwhile at graphic design, you have using illustrator, finding fonts, determining whether 'web safe' colors are still important. All things I would expect from a site about graphic design.

It seems like you've gotten hung up on the word 'graphic'. Think of it this way: computer graphics makes a video game (all the 3d models and animations), graphic design makes the posters and case covers, maybe some of the in-game menus and trailers. While they may work together on some projects, they are two different areas of expertise.
