Proposal: Biology

I didn't quite understand what the decision about Microbiology was - will it be included in the proposal? Related discussion

The biochemistry/microbiology proposal has been closed as too narrow. So I believe that these topics will be included in the definition of the Biology Q&A site.

If the question is about some bacterial mechanism, then yes, I believe they would be on topic.

But, it the question is about what streptococcus species are pathogenic or are used for making yoghurt, then I would say no, off-topic.

    Is pathogenicity not an aspect of biology anymore? The bacteriologists I know studying toxin gene regulation should be informed at once!
